8/2009 - VMA has purchased a new Amada Fabrivision inspection system. This Laser inspection tool scans flat parts in as little as 12 seconds. The Fabrivision can accurately scan all shapes on flat parts and confirm the size of precision holes in addition to automatically generating SPC and quality reports. Reverse engineering function allows a customer part to be scanned and transformed into CAD data.
8/2009 - VMA has purchased a second Amada 8 foot 110 ton Press Brake model FBD1025NT.
The AMNC-PC controller is highly versatile allowing for offline programming, saving setups, and quick change over from job to job. The built in machine sensors automatically reduce crowning on long parts. This tool will help the VMA fabrication shop better serve our customers with more competitive pricing and flexibility which will improve lead times.

8/1/2008 - VMA added a New Bridgeport XV1000 vertical milling center. The machine has a 10000 rpm spindle, 40” X 24” X 22” travel, 24 station swing arm tool changer, and accuracy to .0002

6-12-07 On June 7, after only 3 years of certification, VMA completed a semi-annual external ISO 9001:2000 audit
which resulted in ZERO non-conformances
